The books I have chosen are mostly duplicates of class favorites. It is really nice to have more than one copy of certain titles that are very popular with second graders. All of my students love the IRIS AND WALTER book we have, but we only have the one copy. More books in that series will be fought over, I'm sure. MR. PUTTER AND TABBY series are so beloved that our paperback copies are falling apart. The ZELDA stories are new for my class. The one book we have is in high demand. And finally, I did add a favorite from my childhood. I can't wait to read A FISH OUT OF WATER to my class. I bet they love it as much as I did so many years ago.
