Our classroom environments should be conducive to open collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. This cannot be done when kids are sitting in rows of desks all day. For student motivation and higher engagement to be achieved, then my seating needs to adapt right along with my students in our classrooms. These seating options will replace the hard chairs for some of my students who have a hard time getting comfortable enough to focus on their task. My students are active learners and for them to focus on their task, they need somewhere else to release their energy, these seating options are the perfect solution. I am requesting wobble seats and balance balls for my learners who like to wiggle, bouncy bands for my students who like to move their feet while working and balance discs to go in a few of my student's seats.
