Teaching middle school students can be tough. They are full of energy ALL the time! Teaching on computers can be extremely tough for students because they have to be in front of the computer in order to complete the work. This means long periods of sitting, which is difficult for them. Acquiring the desk risers for my classroom will allow students to stand while working at the computer. This will help tremendously by allowing good ergonomics, freedom in the classroom, and the ability to get some energy out while working.
