We love quiet reading. Queue the peaceful music - we will be reading for a while! A large variety of books are available and displayed in the classroom and on Friday we spend each period reading. Students would love bean bag chairs to sit on. They are more comfortable than their desks. It will promote an atmosphere of comfort and peace while quietly reading books. Reading and reading stamina can be difficult for many students. Students are reluctant to sit down and read a book. The magical feeling of just getting "lost" in a book (as opposed to being online) will be better enhanced by a comfy bean bag chair. This will help create a positive association with reading.
