The materials requested will allow our students to continue to sparpen their fine motor skills when using the iwritewords or abcmouse application. We witness evidence of student benefits while infusing technology into our curriculum; however our current hardware status is chellenging with only one broken "loaner" ipad. Additionally, the ipods will help them navigate a web browser and take pictures to document their work. Students will work on coding apps such as CodeKarts and Thinkandlearn Code-a-pillar. Exposure to state of the art applications and software will improve students' school lives in the classroom and will extend outside the school walls into real world application.
