My philosophy is "A student doesn't care what you know, until they know you care." Access to these tablets will allow my students to create multi-media projects, access diverse educational websites, and read electronic books to help them fall in love with literature; it will help them compete with other students across the state and nation who have plentiful access to technology, regardless of living in the poverty stricken coalfields of West Virginia. I want my students to know that you should always DREAM BIG! And while I type this with some doubt, my faith makes those doubts disappear. I have faith that I can put these tablets in the hands of my students, so that they can learn, grow, and expand possibilities. These students deserve and need to be afforded every opportunity to rise above.
