My students need to have some fun ways to learn their letters, make words, and learn to read. These manipulatives will be used to hep my 1st and 2nd grade students learn to love Guided Reading time. My students do not have a lot of exposure to print outside of school. I have to work with them on the very basics of letters to help them learn letter names, sounds and how words work and I know that these manipulatives will help them tremendously. I want my students to learn to love reading because it is the foundation of education. These manipulatives will help my students with learning to write as well as read since they do go hand and hand with one another. My students will have fun with learning with your generous gift to our classroom.
