Our classroom is equipped with 4 desktops, 1 laptop, 2 ipads, and 4 ipods. We would love to have a set of 7 headphones to match each one of these learning devices as students often take tests online and are distracted in the classroom by the background noise. The use of headphones would allow students to be more engaged in what they are reading online as well as when they are using the computer to use online resources. The donations for this project will allow my students to focus more on what they are researching by cancelling out the background noise in the classroom. This will support their interest and passion in the book. In addition, struggling learners will most likely be more engaged in what they are learning as they will be able to focus on the task they are being asked to do!
