As a new teacher at a Title I school, there are many things that my classroom can benefit from. These materials will allow students to practice reading strategies at a level that is best suited for them, as well as show their learning and growth.The books will be used in leveled reading groups, and will be used with novel studies. Using individual white boards, the students will be able to showcase what they know, in both math and reading, which will in turn, allows me to adjust my instruction to help reach each student's needs. Being a new teacher in such a diverse classroom is a challenge. But with the right tools, my enthusiasm and passion can help change these student's lives!
