We have the wonderful opportunity to learn the French language and culture in our classroom! In our modern classroom environment technology is a huge key to advancement towards our class goals. As a French teacher it is key to be able to constantly come up with new and exciting ways my students can "be in" the language and culture on a daily basis. There are so many ways that having a class iPad could help us! My higher level classes are planning on creating a 15 minute short film in French. The iPad and pencil are integral in allowing them to plan, film, edit, and produce their film. They are very excited that their film will be shown to all the other French classes, other teachers, and to our school administration. My other students have also expressed a strong desire to have an iPad in class. They would use it for many things such as when students teach the class, researching for multiple projects, creating original content such as brochures on French speaking cultures, creating original French songs, using Facetime to conduct live classroom chats with students who live in France and other French-speaking countries, etc.. The possibilities are endless to what will be unlocked for us to achieve!
