All young children love to learn and play games. When they play, they are using their reasoning skills, problem solving skills, social skills, and are thinking creatively. A love of learning is solidified during organized learning games and play. The manipulatives are developmentally appropriate and engaging. Students benefit from the opportunities to explore both math and language arts with hands on learning. These skills are part of a greater process. These activities will translate into real world critical thinking and will foster future math and literacy skills. Thank you for considering this project for our Developmental Kindergarten classroom located in the heart of the American Southwest.
