In the classroom, I have the luxury of servicing students that have been diagnosed with Autism and Speech and Language Impairments. While the students in my class have some type of disability they are like any four and five-year-old. It is very hard for a young student to sit in classroom for 6 hours a day, they tend to seek comfortable seating while trying to actively learn throughout the day. Flexible seating, wobble chairs and stools will mean that many of my students will be able to concentrate on the learning rather than how they feel the most comfortable. The goal is to help the students in the classroom stay engaged without interruptions of students toppling chairs to find the most comfortable way of sitting. I hope I can get the supplies that my students need to ensure a comfortable learning environment.
