Our band is growing quite rapidly, and we've now outgrown our number of music stands. We also have several stands in a state of disrepair, and we desperately need new ones. My 6th grade Beginning Band currently is not using music stands because they meet on a different campus, and we don't have enough. Having more music stands will make band a much more pleasant experience, which translates to much more effective learning experience. It will show to the students how much the community and I care about their hard work. It will also serve as a huge boost to morale for the students. Who doesn't like new stuff?
