In order for students to become independent learners and build on their own individual talents and strengths, they need some technological resources. We are trying to build our classroom set of Chromebooks so each student can get more time building upon what they are learning in my classroom. Our ultimate goal is to have Chromebooks for things such as case-study research, experiments, digital cartography, writing, and many other Geography based activities. Having a Chromebook library will help my students get to our goal of giving each student more individual time on technology. Students will be able to use the Chromebooks to enhance their understanding of topics. A classroom Chromebook set would eventually be shared among my students' other subjects and would benefit not just my classroom, but their other classes as well. The possibilities with technology in a junior high classroom setting are endless.
