Beyond the presidential election, the rest of this school year is guaranteed to hold a variety of challenges to the American community. From Covid-19 to racial reconciliation, the rest of the school year promises to provide us with many important issues to learn and understand. In our class we use text, video, and podcasts to learn about these issues. Now it's time to create digital content rather than just consuming it. They say to teach a subject is to learn it twice. This project takes that adage to the next level and will give my students the opportunity to teach others by creating digital content. Using the iPad I plan to help my students create photo essays, podcasts, and websites to empower them to express their point of view about the topics that matter to them.
