My students use their iPads to enhance their level of learning. Headphones are needed to ensure students can focus on the they are on learning. My class of kindergarten students uses reading and math apps to meet the needs of all students. My class uses iPads daily in their learning and headphones are needed to help with sounds in the classroom. When headphones break students still need to use their iPads and the volume goes up in our learning environment. I work at a school where 50% of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Most of the parents of students in classroom can not afford to purchase headphones. I have bought several pairs of headphones for my class. Over time they break from use. My kindergarten students would love to be able to enjoy their learning with a soft level of noise.
