I am currently teaching music at a combined middle high school in Northern California. Each day, I teach 3 high school classes (Symphonic Band, Guitar Class & Choir) and two middle school classes(beginning band and advanced band). Even though this is my first year teaching at this school, I have been with the school district for over 7 years. When I came in this Fall, the music program has band, orchestra and choir. In less than one quarter, I have started a marching band and a guitar class. I am hoping to start a jazz ensemble before Thanksgiving.
