We need chart paper, magnetic letters for word building, glue sticks and a carpet. Morning messages and Anchor Sets are frequently written on chart paper. It is easier to model proper penmanship strategies on paper with lines. Penmanship is often overlooked and I believe the proper formation of letters is essential. The Class Pack of crayons will provide us with the tools we need for success in our class. Many of my students don't bring crayons from home this pack will answer that need. If my project is funded my students will have ample room for sitting during our morning meetings, whole group reading and math instructional times. Children are often paired for partner reading as well. These supplies would enrich the lives of my students.
