Hi. I am Mrs. Monigold and I teach first grade in the middle of Amish Country, Ohio. We are a very unique public school district that has a large elementary population of Amish students. We have 6 elementary building so the kids still belong to a "home" school. 2 1/2 of these schools then feeds into our JR High/High School. The building that I teach in is 60-70% Amish. Some of our student still come to school not speaking any English.
