Wiggle/Flexible seating will provide my students with the stimulation they need to have sensory regulation. Students in the classroom will be able to focus on sitting quietly and completing work during independent and group academic time. In my specialized classroom, my students with autism will not learn directly from the wobble seats, but they will be used during reading, writing, math, and social skills. The flexible seating will decrease unwanted behaviors in the classroom, and will increase the focus my students have for learning. My students will have their sensory needs met, and I will be able to create a fun and exciting learning environment!
