In my music classroom, students not only enjoy listening and moving to music, but they are music makers. They are musicians! My dream is to have a 1:1 student to instrument ratio and your donation will get us one step closer to that goal! Currently, I make the best of the 8 instruments I have as classes of 25-30 students rotate through to get equal play time. How wonderful would it be to have an instrument in the hands of every student?! There would be no lost time rotating students to allow everyone equal playing time and experience on the instruments. Why these instruments? These xylophones are specifically designed to give students hands-on musical learning experiences. They will not only learn to play musical pieces, but they will step into the role of composer as they create original musical works!
