I am requesting books for a new diverse library for our classroom. These books were chosen with my students in mind. I want to have a classroom library where everyone feels represented. Our class library allows students to read many books throughout the day and puts a variety of books in their hands. This is a great way to show how diverse and beautiful our world is. Even through distance learning, my students will benefit from interactive read aloud. The books chosen offer topics for great discussion that include character development, empathy, and perseverance. I am excited to share new ways of learning with my students.
