I love teaching kindergarten. I am fortunate to be able to do what I love at a terrific school in Tampa, Florida. I teach at a title I school. Many of my students come from a low-economic background. Many are also learning to speak English. Some have not attended pre-kindergarten. Even with these challenges my students come to school eager to learn. They love listening to me read books and are anxious to begin reading on their own. Kindergarten is where students learn important foundational skills as well as learn important concepts in science and social studies. Having good books, games and materials help make learning fun and motivates young students. Thank you to all the Donors who help me create an exciting learning environment for my kindergarteners.
