In our class, we are family! The 23 students in my classroom are 5th grade students working to support each other as they grow and become independent and successful members of our larger Poplar family and the Oroville community. We work closely with the other class of 5th grade students, creating a 5th grade team at Poplar. Our classroom family members come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We have a diverse population that includes many cultures, family dynamics, and English Language Learners. Each day we celebrate our successes while reflecting on our progress in order to grow and further develop our academic and social skills.

About my class
