My students would benefit from a classroom set of headphones to use with our iPads and Chromebooks. They often have lessons in Google classroom where videos or audio are embedded and headphones are required. This limits the students by not letting them go at their own pace and requires them to listen as a class. The donations for this project will improve my classroom by reducing the distractions caused by noises within the classroom setting, and it will allow students to work at their own pace. Furthermore, our school utilizes online reading programs which often require audio. These programs are tailored to the individual needs of the student, making it impossible to do an entire class lesson. It would be very beneficial to have a classroom set of headphones, instead of having to space students out enough in the room and hoping they can keep the volume at such a level as to not distract others.
