My tables and chairs are just not up to par for my students. I have classes that are doubled or tripled because we do not have a computer lab teacher. So at times I have close to 40 or 50 students in my room at a time. I have my junior high students sometimes having to sit in chair for younger grades. The tables are very old, and they have chunks missing out of them and some are not level. I need my students to have a safe and efficient learning environment so that they can fully live up to their potential. This is important to me because our children of this community deserve better. They deserve to create art in a space that is safe, and up to date. They should be able to create, and express themselves on furniture that is suitable. I also want them to understand that their community, teachers and parents are supporting them 110% and that we can and will pull together to get them what they need to be the best students they can be.
