Wobble stools will help my students who need more movement-based sensory input and active seating due to to fidgeting or slouching, which makes it tough to engage in learning. They will benefit from this kind of seating as a way of staying healthier and more engaged in all kinds of seated activities. For example, academics are taught in small groups and I have a few kids who have trouble sitting still during instruction and prefer to stand or sit up on their feet/knees on chairs, which causes them to want to move around more and not pay attention to the task. My students require a lot of movement and sensory-based learning and breaks throughout their school day. Wobble stools will give them a flexible seating option when required to sit for longer periods of time while also giving them the sensory input needed in conjunction with increasing blood flow and improving posture and muscle tone.
