My students are fun and engaging. They are all so different from one another and have different experiences, abilities, and dreams, but together me make a great team. Despite differences, all of my students are willing to help anyone in the classroom. It's a great feeling of ownership. We don't have to be best friends out of school, but while we are here, we need to work together and take care of one another: our classroom family. We live in a city, and they come from a variety of economic backgrounds. Our school is a K- 5 with approximately 4 of each grade, as well as some mixed grade special education classrooms.
