Many of my students have never been cared for outside of school or their home before. They are filled with so many emotions and need a healthy way to learn to self regulate.The privacy cube will give them a space to go to if they need to cry because they miss their parents. My students come from a trauma riddled neighborhood. They need a way to process their emotions. By placing this cube inside the classroom the students will have a place to sit if they are sad, angry, or tired that will not disrupt the rest of the classroom. The privacy cube will give them a place to feel safe.
