Flexible seating options will help my students learn in a comfortable environment where they have choices. It will help meet the needs of my learners who need to be more active in the classroom without distracting their classmates. The Stay-N-Play balance balls and wobble cushions will allow students who need whole body movement to wiggle in their seats safely. The Bouncy Bands for the desks and chairs will allow students who need to move their legs and feet a place to do so without having to get up and walk around the classroom. Choosing their own seat will help my students own their learning and stay focused in the classroom. It is my hope that through taking ownership of their learning envirorment, classroom distractions will decrease. I am excited to see the growth in my students through flexible seating!
