My students have severe social and emotional needs. Students will learn much more with me combining literacy art, science and a dramatic play area. I am noticing some behavior problems lately and I truly feel it's because my students are not getting enough sensory engagements. Children at this age express themselves through playing and making art. Painting, music, science centers are needed in my classroom. We already have tons of funding for our Literacy curriculum, but my classroom needs to come alive with art, music, and science. I do not have an aide in my classroom, so I feel I can get more one-on-one instruction in with art, science and music centers.
