Bloxels will allow students to be hands on to develop their own video games. This will incorporate technology, math, and ELA through storytelling. iPads are critical for Bloxels, as the games are developed and played through iPads. Tablets are something that many students have access to in one form or another, but may not use in an educational way. The tablets will allow students to explore and create, forcing them to think outside the box! This will allow students to have an additional creative outlet, that many do not normally have in their day-to-day lives. Students will learn to apply math skills in an area beyond their math textbooks, which allows or deeper learning and understanding.
