My students will be using this class set of Chromebooks computers in order to study rhetoric and analyze author's intent in contemporary American literature. Students will read a variety of sources across genres and perspectives in order to develop their own unique opinions through rhetorical analysis. Students will not only use their computers to research and compare source material, they will use them to generate their own written arguments. Through the use of multiple online platforms, students will write and revise their arguments with the help of feedback from peers and writing mentors. The academic growth we aim to attain through focusing on rhetoric and writing, will empower them with the tools they need to bring social justice to their community.
