Students that have difficulty in conceptually understanding mathematics will benefit from materials that allow them to experience concepts with their hands. Number sense and place value is a skill that translates across various other categories of math learning. Therefore, a solid foundation in number sense and place value allows students to have better access to general education math curriculum. This year has been difficult because there just aren't enough manipulatives for all students to have their own, due to covid, and this will help students continue to be able to explore math and be safe.

About my class
