Technology is everything in this new Millenium. In order to keep up with technology, my students need the right resources and tools to help them learn how to word process a document and create a powerpoint presentation. My students will increase their technological skills that are required of them in this competitive age. With the chrome books in the classroom, it will help facilitate their research projects. One fifth grade standards is to locate and know the fifty states and identify its capital. My students will use the chrome books to research their state and type out their report. They need to learn basic computer skills in order to be technological savvy in our 21st century! I want to encourage my students to learn computer skills as part of their life long learning. Technology will definitely motivate my students and help close the achievement gap!
