The communication center will help keep the students organized with their daily work by having a place for each child to store their folders. These materials provide essential elements in the creation of our new Montessori Kindergarten. The book totes are important for daily use to engage in reading and reading activities that include independent and partner reading time. Promoting a love of learning and a calming environment aides in the learning process and promotes a successful learning environment for all kindergarten students. The furniture will be housing our new Montessori materials. Creating an organized and well designed classroom that encourages independence is part of the Montessori philosophy. My classroom needs this additional storage for math, sensory, reading, science, and social studies materials. These materials provide essential elements in the creation of our new Montessori Kindergarten.
