I teach special education students who are with me the entire school day. I enjoy teaching and working with my students, it gives me a great sense of fulfillment when my students make the smallest academic gains. I've been teaching in one of the highest poverty level areas of Brooklyn for the past 5 years, and would not go anywhere else. However, my school needs so many resources in order to help my students.
