Technology is everywhere, entwined in every part of our lives. Integrating technology in the classroom is a great way to reach diversity in learning styles. My students are using computerized reading programs daily and face many challenges both at home and in the classroom. One challenge they face is not being able to purchase headphones, therefore making it difficult for them to successfully acquire all the benefit for the computerized programs. Distractions make it difficult for them to concentrate. Headphones will definitely minimize the noise, and help keep students from being distracted and to successfully complete and master their lessons. These programs are beneficial and can improve student’s progress and achievement.
