Due to COVID, my students (K-5) are learning their art special all virtual this year, and I have been trying to scrape together supplies to hand out to the entire school to make art kits. Since we are unable to do any clay projects, I would like to send home individual packets of Crayola Model Magic, so the students do not miss out on the exciting clay lesson that normally would end our school year. 3-D dragon eyes will be the focus of this year's school-wide clay project. I would like to incorporate Chinese New Year within this lesson, and teach a little bit of history around this topic. I will be giving each student a glass dragon eye, and I would need the Model Magic for them to create a 3-D effect around the eye. I have already given each student their own watercolor set, and they will be able to add their own unique colors by painting the eye. This lesson does focus on the 7 elements or art, that we have been working on all year ( Color, texture, space, form, value, shape, and line). Thank you so much for the consideration.
