Our students will use these volleyballs and ball cart to start the first volleyball program at Bronx Park. Unlike the only previous opportunity available, a basketball team, this one will be dedicated to female athletes interested in volleyball. This will allow the young women who do not play basketball, an opportunity to participate in our school athletic culture. Even the promise of a program to come has made a difference to our potential student-athletes. Athletics is a wonderful opportunity to develop determination and build relationships with coaches and teachers. Your donation will provide an additional hook for students to become invested in their health and their education. Our young women deserve a chance to play and your donation will be a part of making that happen. We have over 90 young women signed up to play volleyball. It is a staggering amount and we are trying to get every girl that wants to play a chance.
