Being a 2nd year teacher, I have not gathered the abundance of resources my students need or are able to have at hand, yet. I have been working to build my classroom library so students have a variety of books to choose from based on their interest levels. Book categories range from Math, School, Fall, Holidays, Author, etc.. After looking through all of the holiday books to put out, I have realized there are tons of Thanksgiving, Valentines Day, and Halloween books. However, only a few Christmas books were left over from the teacher before. Because students are so excited about the holidays coming up and LOVE to read. What better way to get them prepared for the Christmas season and have some Christmas spirit than to surprise them with new Christmas books!
