Our students face consistent adversities, which drives a disparaging hope for their futures. Students and staff have had a very positive response to the planning of this project. We are looking forward to receiving planting supplies to start our school garden and the potential for future projects that this will lead them toward. Starting a school garden is an excellent opportunity to expose our students to the importance of sustainable agriculture and giving back to their community. Manteca Community Day School administration and staff believe that such opportunities and projects will afford the students with a much needed exposure to employment opportunities and a realistic look into their future.
