To fully integrate technology into the classroom, students are doing away with paper and pencil notebooks to record their learning, and replacing them with online interactive notebooks. For this the students utilize platforms such as Google sites and Tackk to develop online interactive notebooks. For these notebooks, the students will utilize class pictures, online videos, secondary sources, and discussions from class to develop notes through online platforms. This project allows the students the opportunity to grow in a multitude of ways. Along with learning how to leave a positive digital footprint, students are also learning how to utilize multiple online publication programs. Growing into responsible digital citizen and building intrinsic motivation are also components of this project. With an abundance of potential and opportunities, this project is a great way to help our students grow into responsible and enthusiastic digital citizens. We need these Chromebooks to make this project happen.
