These materials will provide a cozy and inviting siting space for our young emergent readers. It will also provide us with the opportunity to organize and classify books into categories using color coded bins. These bright colors make the library center visually attractive to the students, which as a result makes them more likely to visit the library and engage in emergent reading and pre literacy skills and activities. These materials help us assure that our library is age appropriate and makes the materials easily accessible to our young learners. Literacy is one of the core acspects of instruction in an early childhood classroom. These materials will help us build a library that will foster and encourage our students love for literacy and learning.
