The microphones will make it possible for our new software program to be used effectively. Teachers will be able to listen to recordings of their students' reading in order to provide individualized support to increase student mastery. Reading is an area of need for our students and these microphones will help each student receive individualized instruction on their level. The software program is individualized for each student, but microphones are needed to increase the effectiveness. The microphones will help our students with their literacy instruction which will impact other academic areas. Most students are one to two grade levels behind in their reading and we know the use of these microphones with the program will make an impact on their future.
