My students need these games and toys to help encourage them to participate in speech and language activities. These games help to make speech and language therapy fun and exciting! Many of my students don't get the opportunity to play these board games outside of school due to their low socio-economic status. Therefore it is important that they receive the opportunity to play these games and develop their speech skills with me, their Speech and Language Pathologist. These games and toys help me to target my student's speech articulation and language goals, while making speech fun! If I don't use new games or toys my old games tend to break, pieces get lost, and students are less engaged during therapy sessions. These new games will help my students make better progress with their speech and language goals.
