As Joseph Addison's quote says, "Reading is to the mind, as exercise is to the body." In order to reach true and full potential, students need to be reading quality literature that they connect to. They need to see themselves in books, but also have the opportunity to be introduced to characters who can lead them places that they may never go. The books that fill shelves of my library need to be as magical as the students who read them. By adding these wonderful titles and authors to my library, I will be able to provide my students with the opportunity to read endlessly. I appreciate any consideration you gave to donating books to my classroom to help my students.
