The STEM kits we are requesting will give my students the opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers while problem solving and thinking critically. The Real World STEM Challenge kit will allow my students to think like scientists and engineers to solve relevant, real life problems like creating a parachute, designing a leak proof roof and engineering a raft that can float. Additionally, the STEM Science Stations and activity kits have multiple tasks exploring magnets, motion and buoyancy with hands on experiments and engineering activities. These hands-on activities will allow my students to learn relevant skills, regardless of their language abilities, so that they will have the foundation needed to conquer the world.
