Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read about our class. We are a 1st grade classroom in a Title 1 school with majority of our students on free/reduced meal plans. This is our first year as a K-8 elementary school with overflow students from around our district. My kids are SO excited to learn each and every day. I am a first year teacher hired in October. My students had a rough start to first grade having seen 2 teachers come and go before I was hired. My goal from the start has been to reset my classroom climate into something safe, calming, and fun that the kids want to come to each day. My hope is that I can inspire them to LOVE learning in hopes that they will never want to stop.
