I'm reaching out beyond the walls of the school in search of support for purchasing art supplies. I aim to get as many different types in the hands of my students to ensure their experience in art class is a broad and diverse one. For the past two years, the financial support given to the art budget, and most budgets in general, has been exceptionally low. My students deserve to see more than crayons and printer paper as they explore the world of artistic expression, from basic mark-making all the way to meaning-making. This shopping list will provide brushes, colored pencils, pastels, and 2 types of clay!
